Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (CAN) reported a 28.2 per cent year-on-year growth in cargo volume in February. The airport handled up to 93,982 tonnes of cargo and mail in the month, jumping 28.2 per cent over a year earlier. HKIA sees robust growth in cargo volumes
Air cargo throughput at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) registered growth of 10.3 per cent to 659,000 tonnes during the first two months of the year. The combined growth of cargo throughput for the first two months was mainly attributed to 12 per cent year-on-year growth in exports and 10 per cent growth in transshipments. Cathay reports 28.8% growth in Feb cargo tonnage
Cathay Pacific Airways recorded double-digit growth in cargo in February. The company’s two airlines, Cathay Pacific and Dragonair, together carried 130,467 tonnes of cargo last month, a year-on-year increase of 28.8 per cent, though less than the 147,275 tonnes carried in January. TNT starts flights to Tel Aviv
TNT has launched a five-time weekly service between Tel Aviv and its hub in Liege, Belgium. The company said flights would run five times a week, starting this month, using a Boeing 737-400.
