The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced that February 2010 international scheduled air traffic showed continued strengthening of demand. Compared to February 2009, cargo demand grew 26.5 per cent while passenger demand was up 9.5 per cent. Security training for pharma customers
DHL and American Airlines Cargo have started offering joint training to educate pharmaceutical customers on how best to comply with the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) Certified Cargo Screening Program (CCSP). The training includes discussion on the required process for becoming a Certified Cargo Screening Facility (CCSF). IATA: January volumes continue upward trend
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has announced that January 2010 demand for international scheduled air traffic showed continuing improvement, with international cargo demand up 28.3 per cent with only a 3.7 per cent increase in capacity. AAPA 2009 cargo traffic down 11%
The Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) has released preliminary traffic figures for the full 2009 calendar year showing AAPA member’s international air cargo traffic down 11 per cent for the year. With carriers making corresponding reductions in cargo capacity, the average cargo load factor was 66.1 per cent - almost unchanged from the previous year.
