Cargo activity handling in Abu Dhabi International Airport rose to 67,881 tonnes during the month of September, representing a 9.6 per cent increase when compared to 61,913 tonnes in September 2013. The airport has also reported a 23.9 per cent increase in passenger traffic as compared to last year. Panalpina kept up overall profitability in the first nine months of 2014. Undeterred by ongoing restructuring, group gross profit and EBIT both increased 1 per cent (currency adjusted +6 per cent and +4 per cent), reaching CHF 1,178.7 million and CHF 94.4 million respectively. Hactl up 10.1% in third quarter
Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) has achieved 10.1 per cent growth in tonnage through its SuperTerminal 1 base in the first nine months of 2014, compared to the same period of 2013. Total cargo handled in the period was 1,323,250 tonnes. Imports in January-September increased 11.2 per cent YoY, to a total of 367,137 tonnes. Jettainer sets up new company in the US
Jettainer has set up a new company, Jettainer Americas Inc., in Delaware. Just last month, Jettainer took over the global management and maintenance of containers and pallets on behalf of American Airlines.
