Saudi Airlines Cargo has announced that it will increase its belly capacity on new international routes through the commencement of Saudia Arabian Airlines' passenger flights to Manchester and Los Angeles as of 1 April, thus offering new cargo opportunities to these destinations. Çelebi acquires Aviapartner's cargo ops in FRA
Turkish ground handler, Çelebi has acquired the Frankfurt arm of Belgium ground handler Aviapartner for cargo handling only. The €4.6 million deal was completed on 18 February according to a management statement as reported by Turkish media. The HK$5.9 billion (US$720 million) Cathay Pacific Cargo Terminal at Hong Kong International Airport, which began operations in February last year and became fully operational in October, has been officially opened.
