Aeronautical Engineers, Inc. (AEI) will convert four additional B737-400SFs for Aeronaves TSM, bringing its total number of orders from the Mexican airline for the same aircraft type to seven. Antonov moves mining equipment from Australia to Brazil
Antonov Airlines has safely moved 370 tonnes of new machinery parts on three AN-124 flights to a mine in Brazil from Australia in time to keep work at the plant going. Antonov’s load-planning engineers designed tailored frames to carry two separate pieces of equipment, including a giant drill shaft and a transport cradle, which were required for upgrading machinery at the final destination. Vallair bids adieu to B737-400F as M Jets enters air cargo
Vallair has handed down its last B737-400 freighter to Malaysian charter operator M Jets and will now focus on the A321, B737NG and ATR variants on freighter conversions. The aircraft, registered MSN 26605, was converted in 2018 by PEMCO Conversions and will be the first freighter in M Jets’ fleet, which will be operated under the brand Kargo Xpress. Chinese flag carrier Air China on 18 March said it inked a deal to buy 18 narrow-body jets from AFS Investments Inc, a subsidiary of aircraft lessor GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS). Aviation lessor AerCap confirmed on 10 March in a filing to the US Securities and Exchange Committee (SEC) its proposed acquisition of GE’s aircraft leasing division GECAS (GE Capital Aviation Services). Antonov Airlines uplifts 54-tonne powergen rotor
Antonov Airlines drafted its AN-124 to complete an urgent order to carry a 54-tonne rotor, used in power generation, from Ghana to India for repairs and back to Ghana in good condition.
