EVA Air greenlights plans to convert 777-300s to freighters
EVA Airways (EVA Air) has announced plans to convert three Boeing 777-300ER passenger jets into freighters after reporting net income of TW$6.6 billion or US$232 million for 2021, on the back of strong cargo demand. AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has successfully obtained approval from the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) for commercial transportation of lithium batteries over 35 kilos, which are commonly addressed as SP (Special Provision) A99.
