Dnata’s FreightGate-8 volumes continue growth

Dubai’s dnata has said air cargo volumes have grown substantially during the last financial year at its newest terminal, FreightGate-8, located at the new Dubai World Central-Al Maktoum International Airport. The dnata-operated air cargo terminal, which opened in June 2010, currently handles local and sea-air export and import cargo as well as transit cargo at DWC. Celebi bids for Mumbai cargo terminal

The Indian unit of Turkey’s Celebi Hava Servisi is interested in establishing a domestic cargo terminal at Mumbai International Airport (MIAL). The company in a consortium with NAS Aviation Services India has bid for the cargo terminal. Eva Air signs new cargo agreement with Fraport

200 airports cleared for B747-8

Boeing has said that its new B747-8 is approved for operations at 200 airports around the world – less than six months after entering service – with London Heathrow Airport becoming the 200th airport to receive regulatory approval.
