Toll Group, a leading provider of integrated logistics in the Asian region, has released interim results for the six months ended 31 December 2011, with a net profit after tax of A$158 million, down four per cent compared to the corresponding period, and sales revenue of A$4.4 billion, up five per cent. Swissport’s cargo handling facility at Copenhagen Airport (CPH), Scandinavia’s busiest airport, will begin operating on 1 July, becoming Swissport’s first cargo station in the Nordics. Eritrean Airlines returns to Frankfurt & Fraport
Fraport Cargo Services (FCS) has taken over cargo handling for Eritrean Airlines as of 17 April following the resumption of scheduled flights from the Eritrean capital of Asmara. To start, the route will be served three times weekly with an A319 aircraft from Asmara via Rome to Frankfurt and back to Asmara again. Swissport and Virgin boost cooperation

Dubai’s dnata has said air cargo volumes have grown substantially during the last financial year at its newest terminal, FreightGate-8, located at the new Dubai World Central-Al Maktoum International Airport. Celebi bids for Mumbai cargo terminal
The Indian unit of Turkey’s Celebi Hava Servisi is interested in establishing a domestic cargo terminal at Mumbai International Airport (MIAL). The company in a consortium with NAS Aviation Services India has bid for the cargo terminal.
