Apple’s launch of it s new iPad in mid-March put pressure on capacity out of China with shippers and forwarders scrambling to find air freight capacity for their shipments. Major Paris hub expansion for Geodis
French logistics giant Geodis has announced a major extension to its hub in Evry Lisses, in the southern suburbs of Paris, under an agreement with logistics property developer ProLogis. The extension, of close to 30,000sq metres, will take the size of Geodis’s hub at the site to 100,000sq metres in what it said will allow it to better meet the requirements of its customers in the FMCG retail and hi-tech sectors.
