Shanghai Pudong International Airport Cargo Terminal Co. Ltd. (PACTL) has announced that in week 17 of this year from 26 April to 2 May, it set a new weekly record by handling 30,142 tonnes of air freight which surpassed the previous record of 28,400 tonnes set in November 2009. Changi posts 16% rise in April cargo volumes
Singapore Changi Airport registered an increase of 16.3 per cent in cargo volumes in April, year-on-year with 146,849 tonnes of cargo processed. For the January-April period, airfreight movements totalled 575,697 tonnes, up 18 per cent. HK sees 7th month of cargo traffic growth
Hong Kong International Airport has seen the seventh consecutive month of positive growth in air cargo tonnage — up 38 per cent year-on-year — to 354,000 tonnes in April. The strong cargo growth was mainly attributed to the continued recovery in the airport’s key export markets, in particular North America and Europe.
