Singapore inks OSAs with Czech Rep & Iceland
Singapore has concluded an Open Skies Agreement (OSA) with Iceland giving airlines from both countries full flexibility to operate air services between and beyond both countries, as well as via intermediate points, without restrictions on capacity, frequency and aircraft type. IATA: International cargo traffic in “free-fall”
The latest international scheduled traffic statistics from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) show that in the month of December global international cargo traffic plummeted by 22.6 per cent compared to December 2007. Dubai airport records leap cargo and pax
Dubai International Airport has posted a 9.38 per cent increase in freight traffic year-on-year traffic in 2008, despite the worldwide economic slump and a slowdown in global travel demand. The airport handled 1,824,991 tonnes of cargo in 2008 compared with 1,668,505 tonnes of freight in 2007.
