K+N still experiencing growth
Swiss global forwarder and logistics provider Kuehne + Nagel recently announced its results for the nine months to the end of September, figures which suggested a slowing of market demand but higher profits. In the January-September period, K+N experienced lower sales growth but higher profi ts. Hampered by inadequate transport infrastructure and a disorganised logistics sector, India’s national government has announced it is forming a council to help develop the sector. BMW chooses CEVA
CEVA Logistics has won a contract to operate a Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) for BMW in the Polish special economic zone town of Slubice, close to the border with Germany.
