BOC Aviation has finalised agreements with Air Canada for the purchase and lease-back of two new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. Scheduled for delivery to Air Canada in March and April this year, the aircraft will be leased to the airline for a period of 12 years each. Bank of China-owned BOC Aviation has delivered the first of seven new Boeing 737-800s to Jet Airways. A second aircraft will be delivered at the end of this month and the remaining five are scheduled for delivery in 2010 and 2011. All aircraft are on long term leases. Japan Airlines (JAL) has announced it will start code sharing on 6 additional routes operated by China Eastern Airlines (MU) between China and Japan.
