Airbus’ Friedrichshafen site has opened Europe’s most state-of-the-art satellite integration and space technology centre, known as the Integrated Technology Centre (ITC). UK company Sky and Space Global Ltd has received signed binding commitments for raising $12 million in a two-tranche share placement to investors as part of its $15 million fundraising effort, the company announced. SpiceJet inducted 10 of Boeing's newest and most-advanced 737 MAX8 aircraft, in addition to five of the new 90-seater Q400's and two freighters. The airline flew to eight new destinations and opened another nine routes under UDAN or the regional connectivity scheme flying more than 19 million passengers in the calendar year.
