FIATA continues its membership growth adding 38 in March
The International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) has announced 38 new members in March. "This reconfirms the trend that has been witnessed in recent months where FIATA is joined by a considerable number of new individual members every week,” the Geneva-based organisation said. The 38 new member are from 22 countries from all four FIATA regions, with the largest number joining from the UK. The International Air Transport Association (IATA) announced a decision of its Board of Governors (BoG), unanimously approved at an IATA BoG meeting today, to recommend Alexandre de Juniac, chairman and CEO of Air France-KLM, to succeed retiring director general and CEO, Tony Tyler.
