DHL Express dedicates flights to SGN, PEN

DHL Express is making minor tweaks to its air network in Asia Pacific to meet the ecommerce boom that has spread across the region, particularly in Vietnam and Malaysia. The express service provider will now operate direct flights to Penang (PEN) from its central Asian hub in Hong Kong (HGK), replacing the previous route connected via Ho Chi Minh (SGN). SriLankan Air takes delivery of A330-300

SriLankan Airlines has taken delivery of its first A330-300. The aircraft arrived at Colombo International Airport, having flown from Toulouse, France, and joins the airlines’ existing fleet of A320, A321, A330-200 and A340-300 aircraft. TNT Express opens Milano mega hub

TNT has invested €12 million (US$16.7 million) in a new 40,000 m2 mega hub at the Milano Linate city airport. The facility is located directly beside the runway at Linate airport, from which TNT's Airbus A300 takes off each night for the TNT world air hub in Liège, Belgium.
