Beijing Capital Airlines has embarked on its first ever long-haul flights, connecting two Chinese cities with Copenhagen twice weekly with A330 equipment. Airbus wins US$57B orders at Paris Air Show
During the 2015 Paris Air Show, Airbus won US$57 billion worth of business for a total of 421 aircraft. The deals comprise firm orders for 124 aircraft worth US$16.3 billion and commitments for 297 aircraft worth US$40.7 billion. Qatar Airways announces the next phase of its USA route development with the introduction of three new routes to Los Angeles, Boston and Atlanta. Airbus sets new record in deliveries in 2014
Airbus has exceeded its targets for 2014, achieving a new record of 629 aircraft deliveries for 89 customers of which eight are new, comprising 490 A320 Family aircraft, 108 A330s, 30 A380s and A350 XWB. Airbus tops Boeing deliveries in ’08 but predicts soft ’09
European aircraft maker Airbus once again took top spot in global airliner production for the sixth year running in 2008, with a 7 per cent rise in deliveries, to a record 483 planes.
