AirBridgeCargo takes delivery of two more B747-8Fs
AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC), part of Volga-Dnepr Group, has taken delivery of two more B747-8 Freighters today. The aircraft are the first to be delivered as part a memorandum of understanding, signed between Boeing and Volga-Dnepr Group at the Paris Air Show in June 2015. AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC), part of Volga-Dnepr Group and Russia’s largest all-cargo carrier, is heading into the final quarter of 2015 with sustained growth after reporting a 17 per cent year-on-year rise in tonnage for the opening eight months of the year. ABC enjoys 17% growth in half year tonnage
AirBridgeCargo Airlines (ABC) has reported an impressive 17 per cent increase in tonnage carried across its global network in the first half of 2015. The airline transported over 218,000 tonnes in the six months ended 30 June 2015 and saw a 22 per cent rise in freight tonne-kilometres. ABC achieved a load factor of 67 per cent during the half-year, maintaining a level much higher than the industry average. ABC orders 20 B747-8 freighters
Russia’s Volga-Dnepr Group has signed an MoU to order 20 additional B747-8 freighters, in a deal that Boeing values at US$7.4 billion at list prices, for its AirBridgeCargo Airlines unit.
