Menlo Worldwide has announced completion of the acquisition of Southeast Asia freight forwarder and logistics company Cougar Holdings Pte Ltd. Cougar and its subsidiary Cougar Express with operations in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand, was acquiredfor US$33.9 million. The acquisition adds 12 operating locations in the region and a client base of nearly 200 businesses. New Shanghai park for ProLogis
ProLogis , the world’s largest owner, manager and developer of distribution facilities, announced today that it will develop a new distribution park near Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, one of China’s primary aircargohubs. The park, to be called ProLogis Park Hongqiao West, will total over 1.8 million square feet (170,000 square meters) at full buildout on a 48-acre parcel.
