SpiceXpress, the cargo arm of SpiceJet, has launched scheduled cargo flights connecting Mumbai and Delhi with Bangkok and will deploy its B737-800F aircraft on the said routes. SpiceJet’s scheduled cargo services will operate twice a week to Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), with the first flight carrying eight tonnes of cargo last week. Air Hong Kong has welcomed the fifth A330 freighter to its fleet, joining two production A330-200Fs and now three A330-300 passenger-to-freighter conversions, in addition to nine older wide-body A300-600s. GA Telesis secures engine service certification in Indonesia
GA Telesis Engine Services has received certification from the Indonesian Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to overhaul CFM56-5B/7B and CF6-80C2B engines. This will allow GATES to develop and expand its customer base in Indonesia and open a key access to the MRO market for CFM56-5B/7B engines in Southeast Asia. MAB Kargo Sdn Bhd (MASkargo) is set to launch a new door-to-door service in partnership with DHL Express Malaysia which will be available starting 24 April. UPS makes strides in sustainability with electric aircraft
United Parcel Service (UPS) is making further steps to find new ways to help small businesses with sustainable solutions. Through its subsidiary UPS Flight Forward, the company plans to purchase electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft from startup Beta Technologies.
