HK’s Hactl and AAT see promising growth

Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) said its tonnage throughput for the first month of 2010 reached 212,623 tonnes, representing a significant year-on-year growth of 48.9 per cent, although volumes in January2009 were severely depressed. Paris-Vatry is facing an uncertain future after more than 10 years of failing to live up to its ambition of becoming a complementary gateway to the congested Paris Roissy-CDG for air freight traffic. New legal challenge to Heathrow’s third runway

Critics of London Heathrow Airport’s third runway have launched a legal challenge based on what they say are flaws in the runway consultation process. Governmental approval for Heathrow Airport Runway 3 was given at the start of 2009, along with approval for a future Terminal 6 to support it. New Polet service from Tolmachevo Airport

Record setting January for cargo at Frankfurt
