Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific Airways and its subsidiary Dragonair have reported moderating declines in cargo tonnage with the two carriers uplifting a total 123,860 tonnes of cargo and mail in June, down 10 per cent on June 2008. MASkargo sees 2010 recovery, focuses on charters
Malaysia Airlines Cargo (MASkargo) - which saw a 28 per cent nose dive in cargo volume in the first half year of 2009 year-on-year - has said it expects to see a turnaround of its cargo volumes only in the second half of of next year. Air Cargo Germany soon to be aborne
In the face of a dire air cargo market, Frankfurt Hahn-based start-up Air Cargo Germany (ACG) has received its air operator’s certificate (AOC) from the German authorities and is expected to start operations shortly. ACG took delivery of the first of two ex-China Airlines B747-400SFs from Avion Aircraft Trading in the first half this year, with the second aircraft expected to be delivered by end-July. Air Canada clears last labour hurdle
Cash-strapped Air Canada has cleared the last hurdle in its attempt to avoid a second bankruptcy filing, following the carrier's last holdout union approval of a new labor contract that contains no raises or pension payments for 21 months.
