Scot's get raw postal deal

Scotland has the worst postal service in the UK, according to the Royal Mail’s own fi gures. The six poorest performing postcode areas in Britain for delivering fi rst-class mail the next day are north of the border and had the lowest percentage of post delivered ontime in the fi rst quarter of 2007. Growth at Tibet's top airport

Lhasa recorded a million plus passenger throughput in the year 2006. Recently released statistics in the CAAC annual report, showed a 21 per cent increase in passenger fl ow over 2005, and a 45 per cent hike in cargo/mail tonnage. Hyderbad's new airport ready in March

Hyderabad’s new international airport will be ready by year-end and become operational in March 2008, according to a report in the Economic Times. ST Aerospace's 50th convert

Singapore Technologies Aerospace Ltd (ST Aerospace) celebrated today the redelivery of the 30th MD-11 Boeing Converted Freighter to UPS Airlines. Its subsidiary, ST Aviation Services Company Pte Ltd (SASCO), began the passenger-to-freighter conversion of the MD-11 for UPS in 2001.
