Etihad Cargo moves into cargo top 10

Cebu Pacific, Tiger Phils set sights on Myanmar

Philippine-based budget carrier Cebu Pacific and unit Tiger Airways Philippines are seeking approval from the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) to launch flights to Myanmar. Cebu Pacific is seeking 1,260 weekly seats for flights between Manila and Yangon, while Tigerair Philippines has filed a separate application with CAB seeking 1,260 weekly seats for the route. UPS names Canavan new president of UPS Airlines.

UPS has named Brendan Canavan, a 33-year UPS veteran, the new president of UPS Airlines. Canavan replaces Mitch Nichols, who was promoted to senior vice president of transportation and engineering. Most recently, Canavan served as president of UPS Asia Pacific for the past two years.
