Cargo drops level off at LAX

Precipitous cargo declines at Los Angeles International Airport have leveled off after four straight months of declines of more than 20 per cent as the airport’s freight operations suffered under collapsing exports out of Asia. Cargolux begins Toronto service

The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) has announced that Europe’s largest all-cargo airline, Cargolux will be beginning service at Toronto Pearson International Airport as of 20 April with a weekly freighter utilising B747-400 aircraft. SAS Cargo launches express product

SAS Cargo launched from 1 April a new product called EuropeXpress, which taps SAS’ route network consisting of more than 700 daily flights. Deutsche Post potential Royal Mail bidder

Germany’s Deutsche Post has emerged as a potential bidder for a stake in Britain’s Royal Mail, as the UK government attempts to partially privatise the stateowned postal company.
