Qatar signs up for AFRA
Qatar Airways Cargo has signed up to OAG Cargo’s portal service at the recent Air Freight Asia 2007 conferenceand exhibition in Hong Kong. Qatar Airways Cargo will also use OAG Cargo’s Air Freight Rates (AFRA) application for rates management and distribution. It plans to upload all of its rates onto the AFRA service by the end of the year. Aeronautical Engineers Inc, (AEI) announced it has received approval from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and has been issued a Supplemental Type Certifi cate (STC) to convert Boeing B737-400 passenger aircraft to full freighters.
