Japan Post to buy Toll for US$5B
State-owned Japan Post will buy Australian logistics company Toll Holdings Ltd. for US$5.07 billion, as it seeks new sources of growth ahead of an initial public offering planned for later this year. Cathay Pacific Airways has launched a new service to Kolkata, India, commencing 11 March 2015. Stephen Kavanagh named new Aer Lingus CEO
Aer Lingus has appointed Stephen Kavanagh as its chief executive. He joins the airline at a time when IAG, the British Airways owners, is looking to buy Aer Lingus in a US$1.6 billion deal.
