Global logistics provider Agility on Monday reported net profit of US$138 million (KD 41.6 million) for 2020, down 52.1 percent from 2019. SUN Logistics launches warehouse for air cargo screening
Hong Kong-based forwarder SUN Logistics last week launched a new regulated air cargo security facility (RACSF), alongside new warehouse services, as it looks to adopt new technologies to meet customer needs. Dubai to streamline processing of hazardous goods
Emirates SkyCargo and the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to streamline processes for the transport of dangerous or hazardous goods. The two entities will work together to “proactively share information on certain classes of dangerous goods booked for transport” on the airline through Dubai. The agreement also aims to develop an approval process for transporting such cargo for better efficiency and to reducing wait times. HKIA’s cargo volume up 23 percent in February
Airport Authority Hong Kong (AA) last week released the traffic figures of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) for February 2021. During the month, cargo throughput was 310,000 tonnes, up 23.3 percent year-on-year increase, whilst freighter movements surged 36.8 percent to 4,615, from the 3,374 recorded during the same month last year.
