Menzies Aviation has cut hundreds of jobs in its airport ground handling and cargo business to cope with turbulence in the airline industry. Some 600-staff have been cut across Menzies Aviation’s global operations in 118 airports. Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has signed a contract for all cargo handling in the Nordic region for Singapore Airlines Cargo. The new agreement will take effect on 1 February 2009 and covers all Scandinavian stations, including Finland.
