EUROPE: BA World Cargo expands perishables facility
British Airways World Cargo has announced that it is to invest £850,000 to expand its Perishables Handling Centre (PHC) at London Heathrow Airport. The extension will add 2,325 square feet to the centre and include a new Border Inspection Post (BIP) facility for non-human consumption products of animal origin. Moscow Domodedovo International Airport has new route destinations after Transaero launched new regular flights to Sydney, Johannesburg, and Mauritius.
