Teleport bolsters network with full and converted freighters

Teleport, the logistics venture of airasia digital, is further reinforcing its position as a main air logistics player in Asia with the operation of its first freighter, a dedicated 737-800F, as well as two converted A320 passenger planes, with seats removed for increased capacity. Maersk kickstarts airfreight services, taps AirAsia to deliver Thai shipment

ST Aerospace’s Guangzhou facility redelivers 50 aircraft to AirAsia

ST Aerospace, the Singapore-based leading aircraft maintenance and modification company, and Guangzhou Airport Authority, celebrated today 50 aircraft redeliveries from its Guangzhou airframe maintenance facility, to AirAsia. AirAsia Group said to be considering merging Thai, Indonesian units

Malaysia’s AirAsia Group is said to be considering merging its Thai and Indonesia AirAsia affiliates into one company which would then be listed on both the Thai and Malaysian stock exchanges.
