China Postal Group (CPG) plans to set up an insurance company, which will be the country’s fi rst insurer with sole investment from the postal sector, Wu Dingfu, chairman of China Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC), said. Emirates Post handles record mail volumes

The average number of mail being sorted at Emirates Post’s facility in Ramoul crossed one million per day during the fi rst week of April, against the normal average of between 500,000 and 800,000 pieces, Arabian Business reported. Minister no longer supports postal monopoly

Indonesia’s Minister of Information and Technology, Sofyan A. Djalil, has pledged support to the members of the Indonesian Express Delivery Companies’ Association (Asperindo) after earlier issuing a circular letter that had put the sector in jeopardy in the last few months. French post office adjusts strategy

GCC postal units mull unified service

Posindo to expand package service
