ACI Asia-Pacific has reported that worldwide freight volumes continue to show signs of strong recovery with improvements in global trade and commerce. Finnair Cargo MD named as group CCO
Finnair Cargo has named Juha Järvinen as chief commercial officer. Järvinen is currently managing director of Finland’s flag carrier and will take up his new role on 1 November 2014. He replaces Allister Peterson who is to leave Finnair at the end of the year. Freight upswing for Qatar’s HIA
Cargo numbers have increased at Qatar’s Hamad International Airport (HIA), with an additional 12.76 per cent traffic in July. Gulf Air to launch Kuwait-Istanbul services

AF-KLM to shrink full freighter fleet
At its recent Investor Day, Air France and partner KLM Royal Dutch Airlines have outlined their proposed "Perform 2020" strategic growth plan which was originally outlined in July 2014.
