The Dutch aviation community is expanding its sustainability efforts on the ground as airport operator Royal Schiphol partnered with Neste distributor EG Group to introduce renewable diesel for ground support and equipment. WFS invests in new Schiphol facility ahead of peak
Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) is set to open a new warehouse at Amsterdam Schiphol for offline cargo in August to support its growing client base and add capacity ahead of the peak season. The new 3,000-sqm facility is the fourth cargo terminal for WFS at Schiphol, where the ground handler now has 17,500 square metres of space. Dutch cargo company—Wholesale by Vels—has officially launched operations at Schiphol airport, Europe’s fourth largest air cargo hub, as it looks to provide air cargo capacity as a wholesaler at a time when capacity is hard to come by. After a four-year hiatus, MAB Kargo Sdn. Bhd. (MASkargo) is back in business in Amsterdam. Flight MH6162, an A330 Freighter, landed at the Amsterdam Schiphol Airport at about 1000hrs local time after a scheduled refuelling stop in Dubai.
