AAT speeds up cargo handling by 3 hrs
Hong Kong's Asia Airfreight Terminal (AAT) has announced that it has set itself higher service standards to speed up the handling of general import cargo by up to three hours. AAT sees continued rise in throughput for July
Asia Airfreight Terminal Co Ltd (AAT) has announced that its tonnage throughput in July 2010 was 61,363 tonnes, recording a growth of 44 per cent compared with the same period last year. Export cargo registered 42,808 tonnes, a growth of 53 per cent when compared with the same month last year. Import cargo volume for July was 18,154 tonnes, up 27 per cent while transhipment cargo volume was 402 tonnes, down 20 per cent when compared against corresponding period in 2009.
