Korean Air is set to fly its inaugural passenger flight to Budapest in Hungary on 3 October using its Boeing 787-900. The service will fly once a week on Mondays from Seoul Incheon to Budapest with a return flight the next day. Maersk Air Cargo looks poised to start operations
Maersk has moved closer to the official start of its air cargo operations after the carrier conducted a ‘demonstrator flight’ between Asia and the US last week. The test flight left Seoul from Incheon airport en route to Greenville Spartanburg (GSP) in South Carolina. UPS tops up order for Boeing’s 767 freighters
American logistics integrator UPS has placed an order for eight more 767 freighters from Boeing as the integrator looks to modernize its fleet in view of efficiency, sustainability and reliability. The incremental order will increase the carrier’s fleet of 767 freighters to 108, along with 238 Boeing heritage freighters like the 747, 757, 767 and MD-11.
