The 747 has played a key role in Boeing's history of aerospace leadership. On 6 December, the last produced widebody aircraft bid adieu to the widebody factory in Everett, Washington. The production of the world's first twin-aisle airplane, also known as the queen of the sky, started in 1967 and the first aircraft entered service in 1970. Cainiao Network is extending its partnership with Atlas Air with the launch of a new air freight route connecting Hong Kong to Bogotá, Colombia, using the latter’s 747-8F plane. Mediterranean Shipping Company or MSC is responding to customer demand and complimenting its container shipping solutions with a dedicated air cargo solution. The new solution will be available from early 2023, following the delivery of the first of four Boeing 777-200F aircraft that will be branded with the MSC livery.
