ATR announces new order of ATR 72-600F

ATR, the leading manufacturer of regional aircraft worldwide, announced a major contract with FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), the world’s largest express transportation provider, for the acquisition of 10 ATR 72-600F. ATR appoints new chief

Regional aircraft manufacturer ATR, along with board members Airbus and Leonardo, has appointed Nathalie Tarnaud Laude as new chief executive officer, effective 17 September. Nathalie, who joined Airbus in 2005, is currently NHIndustries’ president and senior vice president head of the NH90 programme for Airbus Helicopters. Bad weather hampers Indonesia crash recovery

Bad weather on Wednesday hampered efforts to recover the bodies of 54 passengers and crew killed when a plane operated by Indonesian carrier Trigana Air crashed in remote eastern Indonesia. The ATR 42-300 twin-turboprop went down on Sunday during a short flight in bad weather in Papua province, killing everyone on board. Bangkok Air receives first ATR 72-600s on order

Bangkok Airways took delivery of its first ATR 72-600 at a special ceremony in Toulouse, France. The handover marked a key milestone in the carrier's development as it plans to take delivery of nine new ATR aircraft from now until 2017. The newcomer will join Bangkok Airways' existing fleet of ATR 72-500s and will be operated on the airline's expanding network of domestic and regional services.
