British Airways World Cargo (BAWC) has announced it is adding a second weekly freighter service to Chicago due to an increase in commercial demand. BAWC volumes down 8.4% in Q3
The sharp downturn in the air cargo market from October last year has resulted in British Airways World Cargo' (BAWC) volumes falling 8.4 per cent over the third quarter of 2008, compared to a year earlier. British Airways World Cargo has announced a reduction to its fuel surcharge. The surcharge will be GBP0.60 / USD0.90 / EUR0.90, with effect from 3 November 2008. The fuel surcharge reduction follows a second consecutive week that the fuel index has been below the level 18 threshold.
