Brussels Airport records 6% growth for summer holidays compared with 2023
Brussels Airport's growth trend in passenger traffic continued in August, with over 2.4 million passengers travelling through the airport (+7% vs. 2023). This figure is comparable to that for July. In total, the airport welcomed 4.9 million passengers in July and August, up 6% from the same period in 2023. LATAM Cargo triples number of flights at Brussels Airport
As of 27 October, the Latin American airline LATAM Cargo will triple the number of flights to Brussels Airport, from four to twelve per week. Brussels Airport will thus become LATAM Cargo's main European transport hub. The flights will be operated by a Boeing 767F. In July, Brussels Airport welcomed 2.5 million passengers, a growth of 5% compared to the same month in 2023. That is effectively the highest number of passengers per month since 2019.
