Cainiao Network has reached a special prorate agreement (SPA) with Atlas Air and LATAM Airlines as the company aims to address the limited cargo space between China and the Americas to deliver e-commerce parcels. Cainiao has added another airline partner to its growing logistics network as it promises online consumers delivery within 3 days in Southeast Asia. Alibaba’s logistics arm announced a partnership with Hong Kong Air Cargo to launch cargo flights to Southeast Asia via Cainiao’s eHub in the world city. Cainiao Network and Saudia Cargo has announced a partnership to form a China to Europe air bridge that will link Asia, Europe and the Middle East to meet the growing e-commerce demand. JD.com eyes US$5 billion IPO for logistics unit
Chinese e-commerce giant JD.com is eyeing to list its shipping business JD Logistics in Hong Kong as it looks to ride on China’s post-coronavirus e-commerce boom.
