Cargo volumes carried by Asia Pacific’s airlines increased for the third consecutive month in November, thanks to recovery in global manufacturing activity, according to the latest report from the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA). Kuehne+Nagel has finalised a deal that will see the freight forwarder supporting the supply chain and distribution of Moderna’s Covid-19 vaccines. Modification specialist ST Engineering has redelivered an A321 passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversion to US-based aircraft lessor BBAM Limited Partnership (BBAM). Amazon adds to fleet with 11 B767s from Delta and WestJet
E-commerce and logistics titan Amazon made its first-ever purchase of Boeing 767-300, bringing in 11 of the aircraft type to expand its global fleet. Cebu Pacific takes delivery of ATR converted freighter
Cebu Pacific took delivery of its second ATR converted freighter as it adds more cargo capacity on domestic routes where runways are usually shorter. The ATR 72-500 aircraft with tail number RP-C7253 was converted at the Sabena Technics facility in Dinard, France, the same place where the first ATR freighter was modified for cargo operations. Global air cargo volume sits on a ‘relative high’ at year-end
