Vietjet’s cargo revenue up 21 percent, driven by domestic market
Vietjet reported a surge of 23 percent in cargo volume between April and August this year compared to the pre-pandemic first quarter. Cargo volume increased from 16,133 tonnes between January and March 2020 to 19,872 tonnes in the following five months. An-124 delivers Spain’s Airbus-built satellite for space launch
Last week, SEOSAT-Ingenio was loaded at the Torrejón de Ardóz Air Base, near Madrid, on board Volga-Dnepr’s Antonov An-124 cargo plane bound for the Kourou launch site. Swissport rolls out own quality label for its pharma facilities
Swissport has launched its own quality label for warehouses, which meet the company’s standards for the storage and handling of temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical goods. Fourteen facilities will initially be labelled under the Swissport Pharma Center name, which will serve as operational benchmarks in Swissport’s network. Asia Pacific airlines saw international cargo demand (in FTKs) slide 19.3 percent year-on-year in August, with the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) citing ongoing weakness of global trade flows. Emirates SkyCargo adds Guadalajara to freighter network
Emirates SkyCargo will commence scheduled twice weekly cargo flights to Guadalajara (GDL) from the first week of October, a press release confirmed.
