The community at Hong Kong airport is getting ready as ‘operation familiarisation’ commenced with the first government and commercial cargo flights descending upon the new third runway last week. Big news for this month for Cathay Pacific, as the Hong Kong airline resumed its full freighter schedule with around 90 to 100 freighters each week. Tom Owen, cargo director, said it will operate 35 transpacific freighters a week for the Americas and a daily freighter service to Europe.
