The Philippine’s largest carrier, Cebu Pacific, is set to launch three new routes including first international service from the southern Philippine city of Davao. Cebu Pacific sees 1H net profit jump 64%
The Philippines’ Cebu Pacific and its wholly owned subsidiary Cebgo (formerly Tiger Air Philippines), posted a 64 per cent rise in net income of P5.2 billion (US$111.6 million) for the first half of 2015, over the P3.18 billion earned in the same period last year. Philippine air cargo up 9% in Q1
Total air cargo volumes uplifted by all Philippine flagged carriers in the first quarter of 2015 rose 9.4 per cent to 58,900 tonnes from 53,820 tonnes in the same period last year, according to the latest data from the country's Civil Aeronautics Board. Philippines-based, Cebu Pacific has received certification for Extended Diversion Time Operations (EDTO) of up to 120 minutes. EDTO refers to a set of rules introduced by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) for airlines operating twin-engine aircraft on routes beyond 60 minutes flying time from the nearest airport. Cebu Pacific (CEB) and Cargohaus inaugurated the Smiths Detection CIP-300 air cargo inspection portal at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 yesteday. Cebu Pacific to launch Qatar flights
Philippine LCC Cebu Pacific Air will continue its long-haul expansion this summer with the launch of direct flights to Qatar.
