London Stansted sees busy July
London Stansted enjoyed a busy July with cargo operations benefitting from the chaos at the Channel Tunnel and the passenger side seeing the busiest July in seven years, as the launch of Thomas Cook’s trio of new long haul flights and the summer holiday season helped contribute to over two million passengers passing through the airport. China Southern Cargo begins maindeck to Stansted
China Southern Cargo will become the latest major carrier to join Stansted Airport’s global cargo network when it begins a new service between Guangzhou and Stansted from 20 June. The airline will operate two flights a week, rising to three a week later this year, to Stansted from China’s third largest city, using a B777-200 freighter. China Southern kicks off new US, Euro services
China Southern has kicked off two new twice weekly freighter routes serving the US and Europe. On 1 March the carrier began B777 freighter service, routing Guangzhou-Qingdao-Los Angeles, followed one day later by the European service routing Guangzhou- Chongqing-Amsterdam.
