Korean Air celebrates 50 years of US operations
On 19 August last week, Korean Air celebrated the 50th anniversary of its US operations with a recognition from the city of Los Angeles for its economic contributions. In 1972, the airline started by serving only Honolulu and Los Angeles. It now flies out of 13 gateways across North America with its headquarters in downtown Los Angeles. IAG Cargo returns to Australia with belly capacity
IAG Cargo has restarted its London Heathrow to Sydney route for the first time since early 2020, as Australia reopened its borders to vaccinated passengers all over the world. Starting 27 March, IAG Cargo will utilise a B787-9 widebody aircraft with the capacity to transport up to 13 tonnes of cargo (10 compatible pallets) on a daily rotation.
