Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd (ST Engineering) today announced that its aerospace arm - ST Aero - has secured new contracts worth $520 million (US$373.4) in the third quarter (3Q) of 2016, for various projects ranging from line and airframe maintenance to component repair and overhaul. Boeing has announced the launch of the Next-Generation B737-800 Boeing Converted Freighter (BCF) with orders and commitments for up to 55 conversions from seven customers. The first B737-800BCF is expected to be delivered in the fourth quarter of 2017.
