HAECO extends MRO pact with German cargo airline
HAECO Hong Kong has extended its long-term agreement with AeroLogic GmbH and will provide heavy maintenance services to the German cargo airline’s B777-200 freighter fleet between 2021 and 2024, including the current fleet of 18 B777F aircraft. HAECO completes A330F ‘C’ check for Air Hong Kong
MRO services provider HAECO has completed its first A330F 'C' check for Air Hong Kong. A 'C' check is a high-level inspection of specified areas, components and systems, as well as operational or functional checks. It normally removes the airplane from the revenue schedule for 3 to 5 days, Payload Asia learned. The aircraft is one of five A330s that Air Hong Kong has, which it operates for DHL Express. DHL Express dedicates flights to SGN, PEN
DHL Express is making minor tweaks to its air network in Asia Pacific to meet the ecommerce boom that has spread across the region, particularly in Vietnam and Malaysia. The express service provider will now operate direct flights to Penang (PEN) from its central Asian hub in Hong Kong (HGK), replacing the previous route connected via Ho Chi Minh (SGN).
