Etihad Cargo has expanded its Middle East network to Kuwait by adding an additional freighter and introduced a new twice weekly service into Muscat in Oman. Malaysia to upgrade Sarawak’s MIri Airport to full international status
The Malaysian Transport Ministry is to upgrade the Miri Airport (MYY) in Sarawak, Malaysia, to handle the increasing numbers of international passengers. The MYR285 million (US$72 million) upgrade will see the construction of separate departure and arrival halls (which the airport does not currently have) and the provision of further covered walkways and apron extension. Air New Zealand Cargo moves lifeboat to Lesbos for migrants
In a move to assist Greek rescue teams working to search for refugees and migrants crossing the Aegean Sea, Air New Zealand Cargo has helped move a lifeboat and engine from New Zealand to Greece last month. TAPA makes good progress on certification campaign
